Holy shit! I mean, I don't exactly feel bad for the Clippers but at some point these guys need a waive and sue his ass for wasting all their time and money.

I can’t wait to see what the league does after the thunder get Flagg

There better be some absurd ridiculous overreaction like they did for the warriors and for Shaq dominating too much 20 years ago

Yes. Plus on more important things people that haven’t entered the over under contest need to get off their asses and do so.

Damnit, I miss her all the time but times like this I really miss @Mecca of the “B” Team and her “glass is shot full of holes” thoughts.

He's done.

Maybe he'll be able to manage it and get well enough to be a contributor like Bill Walton on the Celtics or Grant Hill on the Suns but he's too broken to be a star anymore

Also, I knew the Clippers were short on future draft picks but I didn't know exactly how screwed they are:

The next one they have isn't for another 5 years.

The Clippers just can't have nice things.

It's a tough situation for them. What they really needed to do is move on from both PG and Kawhi...but there are 2 problems with that...

1. Both are old and injury prone, so they weren't going to get near what they gave up getting them.

2. It's going to be their first season in the new arena...you'd like to have a star or 2 because the "newness" of the arena will wear off as losses pile up.

Kawhi is the bigger name of the 2, so from that pov, they kept the right guy...but from an availability pov, PG has at least played a good bit more than Kawhi.

Clippers just can't catch a break. It's like the basketball gods are still making them pay for Sterling.

Meanwhile, JHS continues to make me even more mad about last year's draft. Whitmore, Jaquez, and Podz all right after. :L :L :L

Tatum too high IMO

First of all, I don't necessarily disagree with you.

That said: Tatum is a hard one to pin down. He's not a guy that single-handedly elevates a team. But he is extremely well-rounded and versatile.

Tatum's also a great age... lots of experience but still fully in his prime. That's what probably elevates him above many of the names that come after him on that list.

I think Anthony Edwards is a better "superstar" type guy, though.
