@thunderc the few minutes I caught of the OKC game, I heard they are encouraging Jdub to shoot more 3 balls.

Guessing he attempts at least 5 per game this year
I hope so since he upped it to 42.5 % last season. I think the big thing they are pushing is for him to be more decisive and get shots up quicker.

The “facts” are that it has all caught up with Simmons. Even if he fully believes what he is saying he should realize it’s show me time and just go do it.

The facts are you are delusional and hate him

Dude has been injured with an injury the medical staff tried to say didnt exist

That’s the reality

Well it’s not like I’m president of the Simmons hater club. There are actual basketball people calling the guy out, for very good reason. The facts are he wouldn’t be saying anything if he still had 3 years on his contract.

They do this with baseball players already….
Tatis gave up about $28 mil from his contract to get more when he started. They provide a service, it’s like insurance.

It would be more beneficial if they can borrow from a third party than giving up current and future earnings. It's a high-interest rate loan. Less than a credit card but typically more than a bank or financial institution

Tatis is an extreme example bc he got a huge contract. Most guys aren't going to get a big deal, nothing close to Tatis.
