The Angels are going to be a very good team.
The Mariners and Astros are too.
Going to be a very tough division this year

To get to the top we have to do a lot of things right. We won't be able to accomish that goal this year, but as long as we keep doing things right, we will eventually. As long as we develop our prospects and young players and get in a position where we can spend big in the future, we will have a chance. We did a great job this offseason of building a competitive bridge to the future without sacrificing that future. Now, we have to do a great job of developing so we can eventually use the money we spent on short term pitching for other long term needs.

Usually yeah.. I agree
Their team looks very solid this year tho.. especially on the pitching front.. lineup isn’t too bad either

But our starters should be better. If the pen holds up and we have no big gaps in the order, I think we finish ahead of them

This is a bit weird as I thought we had something set keeping his expiring contract. Wonder is ther e has been some bidding we lost out on unexpectedly

I just don't think the Rangers wanted to spend on the pen. I never heard one rumor that we were negotiating with him.

We never get rumors that are legit it seems. Since the 60 day IR opened I thought it strange. Was thinking an offer was made he accepted pending the roster spot to open. I was mistaken

my only guess re: Moore is that the Rangers possibly saw 2022 as an outlier, performance-wise.
