That would be smart, but I imagine they are like most folks and have already judged him by his first 200 AB in the big leagues. Most folks completely ignore the numbers he put up at every level in the minors and are solely focused on his 200 AB in the big leagues, even though even seasoned veterans can have very poor 150 to 200 AB stretches.
If I were the Dodgers I would be looking at a guy like Kosh Smith
I know he gets on base but I think one of the issues is most MLB teams would want a SS that has some pop. That would be smart, but I imagine they are like most folks and have already judged him by his first 200 AB in the big leagues. I think a rebuilding team with a low budget might take a chance on him, but I doubt a big spending club would. I would imagine the Dodgers will look for a veteran SS.
Yeah, I think the teams that would be willing to trade for him now would most likely be teams in the bottom third of the league. Then they would turn around and trade him in a few years after he has proven that he can hit in the big leagues close to how he hit in the minors.I know he gets on base but I think one of the issues is most MLB teams would want a SS that has some pop.
Luxury tax issues for LAD so maybe they would take a bite. Very solid defense l. Bat may come around. They would have to have a much different take on him than most everyone else. Now, if I was their General Manager, I would do it. LolLuxury tax issues for LAD so maybe they would take a bite. Very solid defense l. Bat may come around. Has looked good so far this spring
