a road W....take those any time.

For sure Strus and Okoro played far better than expected and wont get performances like those often......but also will get much more than we did from Niang. will help the bench to get Allen back, as well.

The new look Cavs looked good last night. Hope Allen won't miss many games.

weren't we a solid rebounding team other than a couple bad games against NY (yep...at a bad time to have those games)? Maybe I'm misremembering.
25th in rebounding last season. That has to do with pace too, I believe bc if you look at their rebounding numbers vs their opponents' it's like identical so like -0.1 through the entire season. Still not the best but I would say it's still their biggest weakness.

Not at all, just a continuation of his play when given opportunities last year. Just noting that he's a one column contributor, that's all (which is why he didn't get consistent minutes last year). Great game scoring last night.
Last season he averaged just under 11ppg in 16.6mpg.

LOL.

LOL.

You missed the qualifier to the entire post: "when he got minutes".

As a starter, he's averaged 33 ppg and 2.5 assists over 6 games.
When he played at least 25 mpg last season, he averaged 26.1 ppg and 2.6 apg (15 games).

I guess if we have to come up with a weakness could make an argument that is it....though I'd like to see how we do with maybe our top rebounder on the floor.

If your comments are based on him missing a lot of time I agree that's a concern.....but think any team's rebounding suffers when they lose their top rebounder.

Doris Burke ruined the Celtics game for me last night.

So that applies to a broken hand, injured shoulder, injured groin, dislocated finger, torn labrum, a finger sprain that coincided with the Pelicans/Lakers trade discussions, Achilles tendinosis, stress injury in his foot, etc are all part of that? Someone falling into his knee or him stepping onto another player's foot are his physical weakness? B.S. Shit happens just like injuries. Active big men are going to get the worst of it.
That's it though - there is always something with him - by the time he get's healthy - something else happens - Great player - but injury prone - The NBA is quite physical and I can guarantee that he won't play 72 games - Now part that or all of that might not be his fault because when you on the Lakers - the other players are going to target you

None of it is really a recurring injury though, so it's mostly just bad luck IMO.

I hope you are right - but I also hope his luck changes - I am not holding my breath though and I am skeptical of his ability to remain healthy

Sure. Just saying he had a bunch of games like this last year that didn't necessarily lead to wins.

Nets aren't in that game last night without him so not sure what your point is

Then the heat should’ve coghed up a first for him

The nets being stuck in neutral leads to some weird decisions
