Lavine hall and Vuc is 80ish
Bulls will have to find Vuc a home in another deal. Vuc could actually net them his own first in a rebuild. If the Sixers are sending Harris and Harden, they’re going to want a useful role player in that deal. That’s why they take on the Ball money. Caruso is the best fit role player Chicago can offer.

Why the hate on Cam Thomas?

13 of 21 for 36 pts in 25 minutes....that's efficient. And kept them in that game....

Strus with 27 and 12 big rebounds. Wow
a road W....take those any time.

For sure Strus and Okoro played far better than expected and wont get performances like those often......but also will get much more than we did from Niang. will help the bench to get Allen back, as well.

The Cavs will have to do something. Without Allen they can’t rebound at all. With him, it’s still a hit or miss. That is huge come playoff time and it hurt them vs NY
I mean, just like I don't expect games like we got from Strus and Okoro to be the norm could be a one off for the rebounding. Allen out a while? OK....that's a problem.

Their issue is their two guards more than anything from that standpoint imo. Hart was killing you guys lol

But Okoro at the 4 will cost you boards too.
agree....though was Strus at the 4 and he had 12 rebounds.

Totally agree issue in playoffs was our guards did not box out.

I don't think it's a one off. That is just one of their weaknesses with their small guards. Not sure it is a fixable. Not saying it happens every game but obviously JA helps a lot.

Strus can play. Not just some 3 pt specialist. I know you didn't like him because he was a heat player but he is a solid player
I was definitely curious to see how he did here as figured with our guards and the bigs down low he might get more open 3s than he had in Miami.....and he was still decent.

Also nice that he can create his own shot and/or move around and not just a stand in corner guy.

I just thought 4 years 63 million might be an overpay for a guy who is already 27 with a limited track record that has never been a full time starter that shot 35% from 3 last year.
That's FA.....unless you are a max worthy player or an older guy chasing a ring you will likely be overpaid.

they definitely were paying him for what they hoped he might become over what he previously was- which is sometimes a good way to get yourself in trouble---- but they no doubt desperately needed a shooter.

Playing with Mitchell and Garland he should get some good opportunities one would think.
honestly, I'd say teams get in trouble more when they pay guys for what they were as opposed to what they can do.

weren't we a solid rebounding team other than a couple bad games against NY (yep...at a bad time to have those games)? Maybe I'm misremembering.

Shopson hates him.

Not at all, just a continuation of his play when given opportunities last year. Just noting that he's a one column contributor, that's all (which is why he didn't get consistent minutes last year). Great game scoring last night.

I did and he said we been following you on sportshoopla for years now taking your advice for free, why should I hire you.

I don't think so. Did you forget the nonsense you spewed last season? You said fire Thibbs.
