Depends. It's not like he can't help anyone. Plus, he only has a player option for next year. For a playoff team, he could be scoring punch off the bench. For a rebuilding team, he'd be good as a transitional guard.

I can see him being moved and some teams being willing to add him. But I don't see a lot of teams thrilled with the idea of giving up actual assets for him.

Is it me or is it really strange people see 32 percent from deep non ball handling Bruce Brown for 25 mil as a tremendous asset but D Lo is a negative?

In a league where defense is optional for much of the year?
Brown signed a 2 year deal worth 45 mill. He does not make 25 mill, 22 mill this season and 23 next.

He is a really good defender and you may have missed this.....pretty good stuff.

Did I miss something? Is D-Lo considered an asset right now?

27.2 ppg his last 5 including 53% from 3 in a starter's role (36 mpg). Could be an expiring if he continues playing well and declines his option.

If two game winners for Dejounte is expected to bump his stock, so should DLo's recent play (to a minor degree of course).

That doesn't make him an asset.
An expiring contract in this day and age is an asset. Whatever team adds him can flip him at the deadline next season.

That is if he does not decline his player option next season. Then he becomes an expiring contract now.

Not sure how good we are when at full strength but been playing really well without some key guys. we will see if it continues.

Which was literally my entire point.

I'm not arguing that they are or are not good. I'm saying you lost 2 of your top players and then went from 13-12 to 26-15.

You see this happen once in a while but it isn't always indicative of a true change in the team.
OK....but you also often see teams lose top players and fall off the map. Likely shows we have enough depth to sustain those injuries.

I mean, the top teams lose often to bad teams or at least struggle to beat them even at full strength. what will happen when we have everyone back? Who knows?

For a team like the Lakers he could be a good pickup. They are streaky at best shooting it anyway, but they aren't that good at defending it either. Gotta be able to either shoot it with them or stop them. He could help stop them.

To me this is just dumb. I don’t care if you put the Hornets or the Warriors in front of a team with real goals. The team should win the game regardless. Both opponents are dog shit.

Not much of a difference this year anyway. Total wins for 1-10 in either conference is a virtual dead heat.

Ok, but your point also tried to rip them for their schedule and what happens when we play tougher teams....when the fact is our remaining schedule will be easier than most.

seems you are also trying to just assume we are better without Mobley and Garland?

Not how it works, though, and likely why GS will probably win at least 35 or so and Charlotte might not win 20.

Lakers acquisitions rarely keep up their 3%s anyway. At least he plays defense.

D Lo is giving you offense.

His on off this year is twice as good as anything Brown has ever managed

Don't believe me look it up.

Now if you need a stop in a key spot...that's great. But ideally you have both. If it's an either or I choose offense.

Again, depends on the team. But that's why they're looking at adding a 3rd team. The Hawks don't want him because he doesn't fit well with Trae. That's been the holdup. He has a favorable contract, so it shouldn't be too difficult to move him.

Murray has been talked about as a target by teams basically since it became obvious that the Hawks were DOA.

I loved Brown in Brooklyn.

He was awesome for Denver in the playoffs.

But, you are right.

His production, ON PAPER, doesn’t match his salary.

I heard he was going to the Lakers for that Vincent salary slot until the Pacers ran in with the overpay.

Sure. But it still seems like a pretty specific fit. I've read a lot about teams being interested in Murray. I haven't read any teams interested in getting Dlo.
