Chicago would take him as part of a bigger deal for Lavine (would the Hawks pursue that?), maybe for DeRozan?

I think Detroit will take anyone for draft capital. Throw in a 2nd?

But that is largely beside the point. The Cavs might wind up with a good record but still not necessarily able to beat top teams.

You claimed what about when our schedule gets tougher and I simply educated you that our schedule will be weaker than most.

sure, might not be able to beat some top teams.....also might be able to beat some as we already have (even without some of our better players).

Don't think it would be a playoff caliber team unless they need a scorer off the bench. He could be a good "transitional" guard on a rebuilding team.

They lost in the playoffs bc they were still a very young team and it was definitely a bad matchup. Most guys playing their first playoff series. That doesn't mean they can't beat good teams, it means they have to figure out to beat good teams in the playoffs to take the next step

No doubt more experience overall and together will help as you kind of mention.....but I think adding players who give us what we lacked will be most important. Guess we'll hopefully see in a few months.

But truthfully if he came off bench he spells Cade and Ivey interchangeably.

You didn't educate me about anything. First what you said was wrong. You don't have the 3rd easiest schedule. You have the 21st easiest schedule. Secondly, my point wasn't about the Cavs end of season record but rather how good they actually are.

Beating up the weak sisters doesn't prove much.

I never watch the Hawks but was watching Hawks-Cavs the other night. Yikes. Even if he tries to play defense he has awful fundamentals and tendencies. I think he might be a worse defender now than in college, no improvement
