Lowry to the Bulls for LaVine?

I mean, if the Bulls are truly blowing it up, it would make a lot of sense for them to do it because of the cap space it would free up with Lowry expiring. But not sure if the Heat would want Lavine...he doesn't seem like a "Heat culture" kind of guy.

Last night Jokic went 14-22 from the field (.636%).

Interesting stat.

That ended a 10-game run for him where he shot at least 75% from the field (96-125 / 77%). Only one other player has done that. Wilt during the '66-'67 season (he did that 6x total).

It is not a hard concept. Yet so many coaches at so many levels screw it up royally.

When players know what is expected of them and they have a consistent role, they will play more consistently.

Everybody knows injuries will change rotation patterns. And sometimes that bench group is on a heater and you roll with them a little longer.

But failing to have consistent rotations and subbing patterns actually causes players to perform more erratically.

And it is common sense.
Kind of agree but not for every player. some guys are bench guys for a reason. Seems like most teams will have a set or mostly set rotation for their starters and a top 6th man if they have an obvious 6th man. Maybe 1 other guy. The rest will get their minutes based on game flow/score, matchup and how they are playing.

I would go after Brown than Murray honestly if I am the Lakers. It will not only take less but Brown is a gritty player. Dude has is better suited to be a 3rd or 4th option anyway. He was brought in to basically be a 2nd option in Indy. Murray’s lack of commitment in ATL has concern and he sort of did that in SA. Not the best teammate for that reason. Go get Brown.

Well yeah.

Not easy being player 8-15 on a basketball team.

Especially if the players can’t figure out when they are going to be called on.

The best coaches are able to clearly communicate roles and expectations to players. That doesn’t mean they are getting the same opportunity every game. But they know where they stand.

When coaches jerk players around with whimsical rotations and inconsistent expectations, that erodes player confidence and negatively impacts performance.

I'm sure they know where they stand..."hey, we have a number of guys better than you. You will get your opportunities based on the game flow, matchup and what you do when I put you in."

Playing well when in could get them moved up and have a more set rotation.

Should add going into a game they might even know how they could be used that game as the coaches know the types of matchup we should expect.

lol this fucking guy.

still with the hockey line change but thus far working today thanks to the new additions.

we have now played 11 players today already with Stew and Cade out.

I'm expecting him to bring the water boy to come in to play PG any moment. We gotta figure out how to fuck this up

You are oversimplifying.

Yeah, a guy gets hot they get more run.

It is hard to manage the back half of the bench. The big problem though is more when guys 3-7 get jerked around.

And that is what I see from Ham.

I'd say normally guys like 13-15 can be some of the easier ones when they're clearly developmental players
