I get it, but I watch every Thunder game and trust me that was the Thunders worst effort of the year. Ham didn’t necessarily do anything a bit different. At this point in the season a teams record is what they are, maybe a new coach can change that but I don’t see it. They are asking a lot of 2 guys at this point, superstars yes but still it’s a big ask.Watch more Lakers games and you will understand where Wild Turkey I are coming from.
Changing the starting lineups as often as he does and the subbing patterns are a sign of a desperate coach and somebody in desperation mode. Players are sounding off and it's just a matter of time until he loses the locker room......
I guess he is trying to figure out how to get guys to play more consistently. Just saying when you have a record like the Lakers do that means it’s not necessarily in your control every night, sometimes the other team gives you one and sometimes you give one away. If Im a Laker fan I’m questioning the roster more than anything. How in the hell can a guy like Reaves be untouchable when he appears to have already hit a ceiling? If they could get a Terry Rozier by dealing him they should do it and quick before the team changes their mind,
The Lakers played really good defense in that game vs a younger team.I get it, but I watch every Thunder game and trust me that was the Thunders worst effort of the year. Annd he was better at it last season, not much, but a little better. It is not a hard concept. Yet so many coaches at so many levels screw it up royally.
When players know what is expected of them and they have a consistent role, they will play more consistently.
Everybody knows injuries will change rotation patterns. And sometimes that bench group is on a heater and you roll with them a little longer.
But failing to have consistent rotations and subbing patterns actually causes players to perform more erratically.
And it is common sense.
Like I said the Thunder played a very lazy game on both ends. But yes, the last 2 games between the teams the Lakers were on losing streaks and desperate so they played hard. I just happen to think Lebron and Davis likely affect effort night end and night out more than any coach can.The Lakers played really good defense in that game vs a younger team.
That’s insane to me, Rozier is exactly what they need. That guy won’t take a single minute off.I would give up more for Murray than I would Rozier as well.
Not sure if I include Reaves for Rozier.
Since you missed it.It is not a hard concept. Yet so many coaches at so many levels screw it up royally.

Rozier is a player I like and advocated for last season when they were shopping him......Reaves is younger cheaper, and has a higher upside IMO though. That’s insane to me, Rozier is exactly what they need. That guy won’t take a single minute off.

Especially, after the trade deadline......which led to the postseason run.
Didn’t miss anything, solid points. Doesn’t mean they beat a better team that is having a good night even if the ghost of Red Auerbach is coaching. Your statement about beating OKC but losing last night was overly simplistic, that’s what I’m respectfully saying.
Preach. It is really easy to make impulsive decisions as a coach.
But impulsive decisions are really tough to sell to the players impacted by them.
And it is a lot easier to brush away when the team is winning at a high rate.
Underachieving team + impulsive coach = divided locker room
Just doesn’t work.
I disageee on the upside, big time, interested in what others think. Reaves is just bad on the defensive end.Rozier is a player I like and advocated for last season when they were shopping him......Reaves is younger cheaper, and has a higher upside IMO though.
If Charlotte included Bridges I would do it in heartbeat. Reaves, Russell, the '29 1st rounder, '30 1st round pick swap for Rozier and Bridges.
And pray we can bring back Bridges in the offseason.
I fully comprehend, not much I don’t. Tlance and I are both correct in this instance,Preach.
Thunder is the one who isn't comprehending.
Rozier is almost 30. Reaves is 25. Reaves and Melo would be able to grow together in the backcourt.I disageee on the upside, big time, interested in what others think. Reaves is just bad on the defensive end.
This would be a bad return for ATL
