Blame falls on both, imo. AD started the 2nd half 0-5 and the Lakers were closing the gap. So, it made sense for others to carry the offense. But they would close the gap, the Nugs would extend the lead again and then the Lakers would close the gap again. When the Nugs started pulling away, they should have tried to get AD involved.

Having said that, AD needs to take some initiative, especially when on the floor with some of the new guys and demand the ball.

That is part I don't like with AD, not aggressive enough. Just goes with the flow.

I don't see how it's overstated. The trend is easy to see. They have been healthy for 2 playoff runs resulting in a title and a WCF appearance. The other seasons have either been an early exit or missing the playoffs.

1) agree but I still think they should do more for the bench. Idk what Derrick favors did to piss eveyone off, but he’s plus defensively and would be a pretty reasonable upgrade on Jordan, then they can aggregate for another wing

2) I 100% believe they brought him back as a “walking trade exception” as hillinger calls it. Based on 3, tbey should go for harden…

Last night’s substations looked like Homecoming for a Football team when seniors who seldom play get to play. If you weren’t on the roster last year, you didn’t play. (Except for Pickett who came in the last minute.) Strawther was probably the most impressive player off the bench in PS and he didn’t play a second. I expect some growing pains playing a couple of the rookies, but it will be necessary to get them up to NBA speed.

As far as Jordan, Malone is high on character guys on the bench who never complain (see Bones Highland) and Jordan is the bench warmer leader. He’s respected by teammates and when he occasionally gets in a game, at least he can snare a few rebounds. I have no issue with him being the 15th guy.
