So Jokic leading the league in double-doubles (60) and being 2nd in trip-dubs (16) had nothing to do with his 1st MVP?
Correct. Embiid was more dominant in 21 but missed too many games. Embiid carried the team when Simmons flaked out and had his team higher in the standings that year as well.

Damn. That's a lot of crying to beat out the Embiid cultist.
Those guys don’t exist anymore because after a string of 2nd team All NBAs and MVP slights he was properly seen as the elite player he is with earned accolades.

If the goal is to push a player with literally not a single weakness let’s talk about Shai

I didn't say that. I like how you ignored those numbers Jokic put put in '21.

Here's another stat you can ignore.

He had a game this season where he had 16 assists and 5 blocks. No player's put up numbers like that in a game.

And I expect you to keep trashing his D. It was mentioned two seasons ago, Draymond called out NJ's defensive effort. Since then his D has been much better.

Will he be the defender Embiid is? Of course not. But Embiid will never be the passer Jokic is.

Both are great in very different ways.

Where’s the argument? You’ve said everything I’ve said. In the year you’re talking about Embiid was the first center to lead the league in PPg since Shaq in 99. He was the first center to average over 30 PPG since Moses Malone in the early 80s. Embiid had great numbers as well.

There's at least 1 left and he posts right here in this very forum. Cries so much, he could die from dehydration.

He must be a tremendous person. I’d really like to meet him so that I could learn at his feet and glean from his greatness. Could you make that happen?

Been through this with you before. And just like the previous seasons you can't/won't give Jokic any credit. The only things you'll acknowledge are numbers that favor Embiid.

Embiid was the # 1 overall pick. He has yet to live up to expectations of a # 1 pick, no ring.

Jokic was the 41st pick. He has surpassed all expectations.

Does Embiid even have 10 career trip-dubs? Jokic has 100+.

But he was the #1 pick in a certain someone’s heart.

Of reasonable choices the Sixers crushed that pick obviously.

No-one was taking Jokic top 10. It's not even a worthy discussion.

I'm not sure why we have to put one down to boost the other.

Embiid was the third pick.
Is Oscar Robertson ever mentioned as the GOAT? How about Russell Westbrook?

When did the triple double take on this air of being the ultimate basketball stat?
