He is going to be the best 2 way player in the game, and I think that happens in the next 2 years. Fortunately he doesn’t have to be a 1 but just watching the guy the sky is the limit on both ends. And he’s always smiling. Impossible not to like him.
For Kawhi to be his floor, he can't be a sidekick.

That would make him PG.

George has the size and skill of Kawhi...

....not the same heart though.

I don't see any weakness in Williams psyche.

You know who I think is the best 2 way guy in the NBA?

Anthony Davis and he has been for some time.

He doesn't get the recognition because he lives in Lebron's shadow.....and he's constantly broken.

With SGA on the roster and Chet also being a candidate for best 2 way down the line, I hope Jalen doesn't get frustrated with being overshadowed.

For the record, I don't think he will.

As good as Shai is I’m not ruling out the possibility of him becoming a 1. If you will notice every time they start getting pushed late in a game and the offense is struggling all the sudden he starts bringing the ball up the court and they generally get it going again. This is ahead of schedule for sure, but that’s ok with me lol.

Also in terms of your getting frustrated comment. Things are going to change, just happens as guys get better and money does things. But right now, this is the funnest team to follow I’ve ever seen. Every shot of them you see on the sidelines they got their arms anround each other and such. They love playing together and the team thing is real right now, can only hope that doesn’t change.

I loved this kid in College.

I honestly believe he can be whatever he chooses.

The talent in clearly there.

Presti drafted quality guys.

SGA is not a selfish superstar.

The guy is on my team and has been fantastic in his role.

But, that was always my gripe with Westbrook.

He wanted to win.

But, it had to be by his hand.

SGA couldn't give a shit who shines, just win.

If he is bought in, everyone else should be too.

It makes post play that much more difficult

So yes. It sucks. Especially with all the bs they've done to help the height challenged instead of keeping the game the way it was meant to be played.,

Meant to be played could be argued, as the sport wasn't dominated by big men until Mikan was dominating.

Agreed. This is where having a GM that has grown with the franchise has paid off. Put a truth serum in Presti there is no telling what you got out of him. He shows us what he learned with his actions. We have something similar going on with Dagneault. He started coaching the G league team and is just growing with these guys. If he doesn’t win the coach of the year this year, at age 39, I don’t know who will. Ok I need to back off a bit here and let Shai do the talking, don’t need any bad juju.

He's the favorite thus far, with Finch not too far behind.

Grizzlies released Biyombo to convert Vince Williams to a standard contract.

Hey Lakers, paying attention?
