D'lo has his faults, but Ham is not using him particularly well (or anyone for that matter). He's also destroying his trade value. You'd think the FO would step in and be like "Hey, he's like one of the few tradable pieces we have, could you play him some more so other teams might be interested?"

Just another example of Ham's failures this season. Russell needs to start. I think even he has come to terms that he won't be in the mix much in the fourth, so he needs to get most of the 1st and 3rd quarters IMO. Reaves can overlap a bit, but the lineups with both in the backcourt should be limited to a degree due to defensive failings.

Reaves was great off the bench earlier in the season and he's not a true point. Keeping one of Cam/Max in the lineup with either helps defensively (and hopefully in another month Vincent gets rolled into that as well, barring roster changes via the trade deadline).

Really no need to mention any other players, no one touches Jordan.

Of his era, sure (and he would be my choice if I needed to make one). Players in Jordan's mold didn't really exist in prior eras, but there were many (lesser) copycats that soon followed. KAJ has a strong case of his era. Lebron of his. Really, any player that forced rule changes needs to be recognized. KAJ and Jordan notably, and the impact of guys like Wilt and Shaq is undeniable as well.

If russell wants to be used properly he needs to waive his option year and become and expiring contract

Then someone who knows how to use him might want him…

If he becomes an expiring contract, it will be teams that want to use him to dump salary that want him, not teams that know how to use him. The teams that know how to use him would likely rather have that 2nd year of his reasonable contract to be a potential option. If they trade for him and use him properly, that could drive demand above and beyond what his player option would provide.

I agree Kareem has to be in any discussion if other players are brought into it.

Sure, Mikan deserves a mention as well. He's far enough back that many know nothing of his career (I certainly don't know much, even as a Laker fan). The lane width and the 24 shot clock were reactions to his dominance.

Two of the biggest negatives in basketball history

You'd rather see players sit on the ball to shorten the game?

Does the size of the lane really impact that much? 3 second calls aren't all that prevalent, kinda like traveling/palming.

It makes post play that much more difficult

So yes. It sucks. Especially with all the bs they've done to help the height challenged instead of keeping the game the way it was meant to be played.,

This is one of the worst lists I have seen in sometime.

JJJ and Zion's fat ass are egregiously high, depending on what criteria they used.

Is it based on projection or what they actually are right now?

Because if its projection, explain Wemby?

I don’t think jjj is that bad 20 ppg scorer and an all league defender

What is jalen green even doing on the list??

and Simon’s seems too high for me but I’d have to check honorable mentions as well

The list is all over the place

Ok, I was waiting on someone else to say it. It’s been said.

Don't dance around it.

You've been dropping not so subtle hints for a week now.

YOLO....LOL

I don't think they jump the shark and go from play in hopeful to Finals participants.

That's just too big a jump.

SGA has been to the playoffs with the Clippers.

But, has anyone else outside of maybe Bertans?

So, I can't go that far.

But......

What I will say?

If I had to chose between the top 4 teams in the West that will make it to the WCF and has the ability to beat Denver?

OKC.

They are better than the Wolves, Clippers, Kings.

I just don't know if they are good enough to beat Joker 4 times.

Agreed, but watching them last night I’m thinking the team that can beat them 4 times is going to be shredded moving forward. The odds say they won’t do it, but Shai is a serious mvp candidate who is obviously gaining confidence. I’m not telling them they can’t do anything lol.

Dude.....

My irritation about his placement should be obvious.... Lol

I'm not taking that non rebounding, foul machine over Santa Clara Williams.

We saw who Jaren really is in the World Cup.

Motherfucker is not a game changer without JA.

They remind me of the up and coming Dubs.

But, even that team suffered a 1st round loss on the way to the mountain top.

This would be unprecedented.

Not sure if you saw where I put out my Jdub comparison and said it’s Kawhi. I’m starting wonder if it’s a floor or ceiling comparison though. Yes I am getting pretty optimistic. Tell me I’m wrong.

It's possible.

I just don't know what he'd look like as a #1.

I have him at uber-Mikal Bridges.

He is going to be the best 2 way player in the game, and I think that happens in the next 2 years. Fortunately he doesn’t have to be a 1 but just watching the guy the sky is the limit on both ends. And he’s always smiling. Impossible not to like him.
