He was pretty disappointing at USC too. If memory serves, he was, at the time, the highest ranked recruit they had ever landed. But he never lived up to the hype.

I was surprised that he was drafted as high as he was.
Have you been watching USC basketball?

I don’t see Bronny taking Collier nor Boogie’s job anytime soon.

Dunno how far almost dying set him back…

But he isn’t a 1 and done draft pick.

Talent wise no, doesn’t mean it won’t happen though right?

I would hate it more for the kid than the dumb ass team that wasted a pick.

He doesn’t need the money….

He isn’t going to improve simply by being around the best training staff, talent development…

He’s had access to that his whole life.

Bronny has some talent.

He just needs time and a chance to be a kid.

Sadly, he won’t get that because of who his father is.

If he gets drafted, everyone will know it had nothing to do with him as a player and that would be a shame.

If it happens they might as well just give Klutch an expansion team

He was still the subject of my favorite post ever.

I don’t remember what Griz fan posted it. Morning after the draft, the Wolves and Griz had a late trade and someone posted: “Went to bed dreaming of Gay-Love and woke up with Mayo”

Yep, been watching.

He was never going to be a 1 and done (at least he shouldn't be), but he's been better than I thought he'd be.

He's still on a minutes restriction and is still learning the offense and adjusting to the college game. That heart issue understandably has him trying to play catch up.

He's very athletic and seems to have much of his Dad's basketball i.q. His decision making has actually been better than Colliers. His defense has been pretty strong too.

I don't think he'll be a star in the NBA, but from what I've seen so far...there's something to work with and if he's got his Dad's work ethic, he could be a solid NBA'er.

Anyone expecting him to be his Dad is going to be disappointed. Unfortunately, his name is going to make him a target.

Lebron saying he should be starting after 7 games isn’t helping.

Let the boy earn it.

From what you are saying, he just might.

Absolutely.

Ham has not been great.

Neither has Dlo…

Neither has Hayes….

Neither has Austin until recently….

Injuries, blah, blah, blah…

They had expectations after making the WCF.

Maybe those expectations weren’t realistic.
They likely overachieved last year, got to play the Warriors after all LOL

Whatever his ability I don't see how a team doesn't draft him and bring in LeBron (who has an opt out) to play with him. Lakers should do that.

Well, hopefully he won't declare. I think that would be a mistake. But, if he does, why not? He can hold down a chair at the end of the bench as well as anyone else.

I think the heart issues probably lets everyone save some fave here.

Bronny can use coming back from that as the reason he isn’t ready and he can get at least another year of development.

Would be surprised if his Dad encourages him to enter the draft this year.

Just think he will do so, to make the father son thing happen. But the way LeBron looks maybe it can wait another year lol
