New lineup alert for the Lakers

If he's serious, might be coming up on a new staff lineup soon. Makes zero sense to start with a heavy defensive lineup, then the second team comes in with no defense. Balance that crap Ham.

Not enough shooting in this lineup

AD and Lebron have been healthy, played most of the games, and playing well. Lakers are .500 on Jan 1. That's completely unacceptable. Every other player on this roster has been ass, though Reaves is starting to play better after a poor start. Darvin Ham has a done a terrible job coaching. Constant line up changes, no one knows their role, terrible in game management (leaves bad line ups in too long, slow to adjust, etc), consistently get punched in the mouth in the 1st quarter and have to play catch up (a telltale sign of bad prep). There's no real fixes here either. They could dump Ham, but its hard to get a new coach's system in mid-season, though you might pick up a few extra wins with better game management since Darvin is so bad at it. There's not much in the way for trades either. Lavine is not the answer. They're gonna have to get real creative about who they bring in. This team looks very much like an easy 1st round exit, probably can get bounced in the play in.

Sixers catch a run of 6 of the next 7 at home. Need a 6-1 run out of that stretch. Boston and the Bucks don’t lose and they’re starting to create a gap in the standings.

Age 23 season

Allen Iverson:
26.8 PPG
4.9 RPG
4.6 APG
3.5 turnoverPG
41.2 FG%
29.1 3FG%
75.1 FT%

Tyrese Maxey
26.3 PPG
3.9 RPG
6.5 APG
1.5 turnoverPG
46.1% FG%
38.7 3FG%
88.7 FT%

Put in this context, Maxey has A.I. fearless ability to go into the trees in getting to the rim but Maxey isn’t the same level of ball dominant guy with a much better outside shot.

We are about two weeks away from the Sixers acquisitions being tradable. Hope they can add perimeter defense, shooting, and secondary ball handling.

Heard a rumor that OKC might be in on him or Lauri Mark.

Either of those come to fruition and the West is fucked for the foreseeable future.
Do you like that fit? I just think that leaves them crowded at 4. It isn’t sexy but I think a guy like Clint Capela from the Hawks would be a good fit for them. He can play the 5 and Chet can be off ball rim protection.

Yep.

As well as he's playing, Chet at the 4 makes better sense.

I think @thunderc and I spoke about Capela or Claxton to OKC a bit this Summer.

But, if they wanted to make a sexier move, this and the shit ton of picks can get such a deal done.

If the Thunder decide to go that direction, it has all of the resources to do so. It has Davis Bertans and Vasilije Micic's combined $27 million to match salary, countless draft picks and a talented young player in the form of Josh Giddey.
