It's fine for regular games where winning by 1 or 100 doesn't matter.

But point differential matters in this tournament.

Something tells me that if he lost a chance at $500,000 because he didn't score 1 more bucket, he'd change his tone pretty quick.

It's one thing to not take another shot if you've clinched your spot...quite another when it could cost you your spot.
