The Western Conference leading Minnesota Timberwolves.

I don’t give a shit if it is Nov 20th. I don’t get to EVER say that so I’m going to say it.

That’s a team that needs to find one more wing scorer

lol

Interesting that you want to eliminate the argument that is the reason he doesn't get a lot of calls.

I wonder why?
Ya because that argument is dumb as fuck. He it literally touches the ball more than any other player on the team and is constantly in and around the paint where you should be getting calls. He plays a physical style it’s not as if he’s a 3 point shooter only.

This was why I didnt get too hyped about the Rockets start because all of the wins came at home....Yet to show they can win away from home

Looks great in SF tonight

Yeah he's really good. People just sleep on him because he plays on Houston who is never on national tv.

Don't want to put high expectations and him and say he can be another Jokic but a better scoring version of Sabonis is more likely IMO

The Heat bench is really good when they are healthy. Feels like the bench 2 years ago when they had 53 wins

Bench
Jrich
JJJ
Dunc
Caleb
Love

That is a really solid 10 man rotation they can throw out there

Not for me. Need to win a game on the road before I call them a good surprise.

Now 0-6 on the road and the next 3 road games on their schedule will come against Dallas, Denver, and LAL

Smells like 0-9

We could put together a better FO with guys on here than they have.

I am sure @tlance would agree.

It is tough.

Commanders and Wizards have been incompetently run for decades.

It isn’t easy to run a pro franchise.

But man, you would think they would stumble upon somebody who could do it along the way.

Most of the missteps are just blatantly obvious that they aren’t going to work.

Now, having said all that…

I have never thought Jordan Poole to be more than empty calories. Thought the Warriors made a horrible mistake signing him to the extension when they did it.

Also thought he would put up numbers in DC.

But man he is terrible.

Too many teams are both too risk averse and too pr conscious

Yeah, he's just like Shaq in the paint all the time playing physical.

He doesn't get calls because he spends a significant amount of time outside of the paint. He shoots a lot of 3's and he often runs the offense from the perimeter, which how he gets so many assists.

What's dumb as fuck is not knowing that.

That’s a team that needs to find one more wing scorer

They really need a backup PG/combo G who can create off the bench. But there is oddly not a lot of them out there that would be available that jump out to me.

Shake Milton has been a disappointment. Still early but I cant imagine them holding pat at the position if he looks the way he has so far.

I doubt they mess with their wing rotation at all. They arent the greatest scorers but the defense, which is the reason they are winning, has been fantastic.

Jaden and Edwards create an elite SG/SF combo. And off the bench with NAW and Kyle Anderson is a really good backup pair (NAW is about to come on a little offensively and is already a very good defensively). And if they have to get deep in the regular season, it would be interesting to see Minott get some minutes.

But it is the backup to Conley where we still need help. He is a 36 year old and the 5th best player in the starting rotation. But if he got hurt, it is season over. There is nothing behind him (especially currently with McLaughlin hurt). And while he has looked great so far this year, I just cant imagine him being able to handle the minute load in the playoffs that we would be asking from him currently.
