I just got a push notification from NBA.com about a article that says " Harden's Clippers should take a page from the Heatles book".

LMFAO

This is NOT that.

Those guys were too unselfish.

These pieces simply can't fit, no matter the configuration.

Plus, Harden is a sloth.

That and there were only 2 that needed the ball a lot and it was still awkward at times, even after they got it figured out.

On the Clips there are 4. They have been able to make Westbrook work because he mostly came off the bench. Even with that, the offense tended to stagnate at times when all 3 were on the floor together.

Don’t think I was here yet but I will tell you what I thought. I thought Presti had to pick a lane due to the cap and more specifically the repeat offender tax. He chose to put his eggs in the Ibaka basket. There were local rumblings that the Thunder didn’t see Harden as a long term Thunder type player. I said that as well. Ibaka never developed an inside game as planned, the rest is history. Presti is going to have similar decisions to make soon. I don’t see a Harden type ego with this bunch though.

We will never know how it would have turned out, the Thunder culture might have helped the guy long term. I will admit to being happy the Thunder didn’t give him the chance to screw them though. That’s based totally on what he has done to teams after the fact.
