I mean…

That says more about how badly LeBron got robbed than it says about Jokic.

But this is probably his last.
More than Tim Duncan. More than Kobe. More than Hakeem. More than Shaq. Just as many as Larry Fucking Bird.

This is what happens when you let spreadsheets and math worms rule the sports world.

Really no reason for him to get it over SGA this season

Look, there are more superstar level players today than ever before. I believe that.

However, because there isn’t a clear cut guy at the top, none of the current group really project that well to be considered top 10 or even top 20 all timers.

That is aside from LeBron, Curry and Durant who are past their primes.

So this is what happens when one of the top dogs stays healthy while the rest around him get hurt.

LeBron lost out to a bunch of players he was clearly better than.

That is not the case here.

I just wish that LeBron had been afforded the same treatment so he could have his 8 MVPs.

Or Luka. What else does Luka have to do? That’s a challenging roster and Kyrie is always a threat to go off reservation.

Oh well…VORP and RAPTOR rule the day.

This is the guy we let tell us what to value in basketball.

Yeah there is.

The argument for SGA is because “Jokic already has 2”.

And that is complete BS.

The most deserving player should get the award every single year. Past should not play a role in the current year winner.

Maybe times are changing and we can finally get there.

I get that Jokic triggers some people.

But is he really saying that James Harden and Russell Westbrook were better than Jokic?

Derrick Rose? Steve Nash?

And sorry, but here are a few more greats who weren’t better than Jokic either:

Dirk, Garnett, Iverson, Barkley
Fucking retard

So we just going to give Jokic the award every year because his team is good and he’s able to avg 25/12/9? It is lazy voting just like with the other awards.

How is he more deserving than SGA?

There’s little discernible difference between the impact of Jokic Shai or Luka on their teams. You’re crazy.

How about this one?

This cat isn’t better than Kobe or Shaq or Hakeem or Larry Bird. He’s been propped up by math formulas.

He’s not. Shai is responsible for an epic turnaround in OKC. Not by himself, but he’s the most important piece. OKC looks like just an average team with him out. Meanwhile, the real straw the stirs the drink in Denver is Jamal Murray because he can close.

This is another reason I wouldn't vote him as first.

I just can't have him on that Mt Rushmore of MVPs.

The first 2024-25 MVP ladder has just been released and Jokic got 87 of 100 first place votes.

25/12/9 otherworldly efficiency.

Yes.

SGA takes another step next year and he can get his.

He isn’t competing against Shaq, or Kobe or Hakeem or Bird for MVP now is he?

You are just as sad as the other voters so he just got to keep doing what he is doing but when LeBron and Giannis did that everyone screamed about voters fatigue lol team doesn’t even have to get better
