I’m waiting to see how bad Presti screwed someone to give up that 26 Clippers first round pick.

I just noticed this stupid in season tournament starts this week. It was already dumb but starting it so soon in the new season makes it even dumber.

Congrats on the picks....

You told everybody on here the Sixers need Mann because RoCo and Morris are washed....and you may have said Batum was washed. I don't remember on him.

What changed with this trade? Martin is the player you got back that will crack the rotation?
A pick swap and an extra first >>>> Terrance Mann. I never dreamed they’d get 2 firsts, a swap (in 2029 when Kawhi PG13 Harden and Russ are all done) and two 2nds for Harden.

Not to mention 39 points on 20 attempts is 1.5 points per attempt. Which is crazy good.

Again, inflated stats since his attempts that drew the 17 FTs aren't considered.

Now the problem is getting that chair broke over your head daily lol
It’s early but I’m pleased.

1. Maxey got better again. Embiid dribble hand off with him looks great. JJ Reddick and Seth Curry had career years in DHO with Embiid and those guys can’t get to the rim like Maxey can. Maxey also allows over time for the Sixers to still run pick and roll with the pair.
2. The ball actually moves with 5 guys on offense actually having a role
3. Embiid finally being encouraged to sell out on defense averaging 3 blocks per game
4. Embiid averaging 7 assists a game! (6,8,7 in his first three contests)
5. Oubre looks like a steal. A steady bucket off the bench.
6. Clear out Tucker's money when he has no role on this team.
7. Sixers have options to add a 3 piece to fill out a Big 3 through trade this season or with cap room next season

I'm elated

If you were gonna take this kind of deal, needed to do it now

Clippers trading all of their power forwards is something

Now they got tucker and brown

But those Pfs all fit what nurse wants. And mini Kmart is a raptors type player.

As ecstatic as I am, I do feel for her. But this shit was her or me and I’m glad he’s gone.
At least you're done selling us on how good a player he is

What's funny is I bet you weren't saying this back when Shaq played for the Lakers.

LOL.

It was a good trade for Philly. However, the window for Embiid to win a championship continues to shorten. What is the plan moving forward? I don't see us competing against the Celtics now. I wish Morey could have unloaded Harris somewhere.
Harris is a nice piece on the floor. He’s overpaid and that’s what everybody focuses on. He’s actually underrated based on the way people (especially Sixers fans) view him. He’s averaging 19 a game on only 10 shots a game. He’s a very efficient player. He’s actually improved as a defender as well. Short term he was lost with Harden. But playing with Harden for 15-16 months forced him to find other areas to his game to help him be a better all around player.

If the Sixers get Lavine or Siakam, it’s the Harris piece that will be the salary to make it happen.

Martin is washed. RoCo and Batum could play a bench role. The usable player that’s coming back is yet to be revealed. My top choice is OG Anunoby.

Keep hanging on to that OG dream. I doubt he makes it to free agency. Philly will need to flip those recently acquired draft picks before the deadline to Toronto to get him.

^^^Clueless take. This solidifies Embiid not asking out because:
1. They have options for trade this season or cap space this summer to add to the group
2. Maxey looks like he is going to be one hell of a Robin to Embiid’s Batman. Prior to Harden, Embiid’s actions leaned heavily on DHO. He’s got the best DHO pairing of his career now in Maxey.

Pick it up my guy. Awful awful awful take by you. This is Skip Bayless shit. Do a better job.

Yeah trading for all these pfs means Harris and the picks are likely on the go

He’s on the last year of his deal. This is likely a rental for them.

Would be silly for him and the Clippers to not take advantage of his Bird rights and flip him either before the deadline or via S&T over the summer. Will there be any takers at a useable value is the bigger question I guess.

We can’t evaluate this fully until we learn what the Thunder got in the deal. Odds are it’s a future first but we will see.

And? That’s only a trade for $18 million of player. That leaves 39 million of expiring in Harris alone and in total the potential for 84 million of expiring this summer leaving the Sixers some 30-50 million in cap relief to shop before they redo Maxey and his ridiculously low cap hold giving him a max. Sixers will continue to be a luxury tax team.

What a time to be alive! Optionality bitches!
