Yeah it helps not having a player on your team who got punched in the face and heart wasn't in it. Once Dray didn't want to clear the air then the season was over
It's not just that. Poole could get you a bucket but he could also get you a turnover. He was supposed to run the 2nd unit and he was crap. Paul runs it like a boss and so far seems very cool with his role

Lol no

They play back to backs in hockey and baseball also
I'm talking about the NBA, dude....so don't be silly.

I really couldn't GAF about Hockey...haven't for many many years now.

Baseball is a totally different animal....162 game season, and bigger rosters for starters.

Kinda different in baseball though considering a lot of the game is just standing around
He knows that. He's just being silly.
I'm all for advocating for a shorter NBA season/reducing the number of games if that would mean putting an end to B2B games and finally putting a halt on the whole "load management" nonsense.

Warriors look totally different this year. Still early of course but last year they couldn't beat anyone on the road, this year no problem so far. CP3 is being a total pro, Moody is starting to emerge as a reliable 3rd or 4th scorer, Saric is a nice pickup, the bench is deep. But the main thing, and they won't talk about this, is Poole being gone. They tried to pretend it wasn't an issue but it really was, all season. Dray and he never fixed it and the vibe all year was messed up.

They might be a top 4 seed after all out of the West. Probably not winning more games than Denver but almost anyone else they could.
Poole got what he wanted

to be a trash player who puts up buckets on bad team.

His stat line this year is probably the most predictable thing I've seen in terms of seeing it being all bad in a while

Sorry @Mecca

Clippers get Harden, Tucker and Filip with an F (Pat Bev podcast)

Sixers gets Marcus Morris, RoCo, Batum, and KJ Martin along with 2 seconds, a 2028 first, a 2029 pick swap, and apparently there’s another first round pick coming from a third team. Sixers are cutting Danny Green to make room for the new players

Shit players coming back but two firsts is pretty solid. Now that Harden is gone there’s no longer need for his bottom bitch Tucker. Morey cleared an extra $22 million (11 per season) with Tucker going out as well.

Sixers got back $40+ million of expiring contract. In fact, not counting Maxey 102.8 million comes off the cap next season.

This is the very deal (2 first round picks a swap and 2 seconds was more draft capital than even I anticipated) that people here told me I was insane for saying Morey to hold out for. This was characterized as saying Morey was shooting for the moon and delusional.

We know who you are. The receipts are in this thread. If you’re a real man, you’ll step up and admit that you were wrong.

Finally, let’s all remember @Mecca in our prayers as she deals with this difficult news.

you gotta think they flip that 2028 pick for something right? or do play with what you have and add the FA next year?

Optionality! The Sixers now have the ability to make moves. I would try to make a deal for Anunoby first. Sixers five would then be
Maxey Melton OG Tobias Embiid

Bench: Oubre, Pat Bev, BBall Paul, House, Jaden Springer.

If that doesn’t work and season wears on and Bulls tank you can keep the Clippers 40 million of expiring and send Harris and picks for Lavine.

The big thing is that the Sixers can now make some noise and they have the stuff to make something that makes Embiid happy and the Knicks can go and fuck themselves.

Wonder how long it will be before Harden is upset in Los Angeles and demands a trade....
He’s on the last year of his deal. This is likely a rental for them.
