What I will say is there is no reason to give Jokic the MVP over SGA

Denver doing what people expected them to do while SGA got his team playing out of their mind. Everyone expected a jump from OKC but not top 4 seed type of jump (possibly top seed out west)

Shai is their best player and their catalyst, no doubt. But he was playing pretty close to his current level last year too.

The reason the Thunder are legit this year is because they added Chet and JDub is a budding star beside Shai.

Last night was a shining example of Shai’s value though. After losing a big lead and falling behind 6 the Thunder righted the ship from the second Shai came back in the game. 2 straight seasons with 45 games over 30 points, only one to do that since MJ. And he has 21 games to add to it. He is a legit candidate for the all defensive team as well. His case makes itsself and I do expect it to gain steam.
