Yeah, they were laughing about it on Dan Patrick today. They were saying "yeah, that's what GM's do...they ask about availability of players they have interest in. Unless there was an actual offer made, it's a non-story".

His late swaps of Bev and Springer to get 2nd round picks was his attempt to bolster the offer to Chicago for Drummond. Morey can’t control the Bulls being a delusional organization that gave Lavine 40 million a year and is about to sign up for 3-4 more years of DeRozan.

But as you said at least he got Hield.

The Bulls are pretty hopeless. I really hope Detroit stays off Lavine. Although the idea of them signing Tobias at his current salary is even worse.
