looks like Wiseman has taken minutes back from Muscala... who has been remarkably ineffective on defense the last half dozen games. I see almost no reality where James is a Piston next year so he's basically auditioning for his next job. tonight was a good night for him.

Report just came out that the warriors wanted Bron at the deadline lol
No Lowry tonight. He didn’t suit up at all for Charlotte so they’re giving him a “ramp up” to play. He won’t play until after the All Star break.

wonder what they'd had even offered

obviously it didn't get off the ground
I would think a combination of Kuminga, Wiggins, salary matcher and picks. If it was anything less it didn't last more 30 seconds.

Kuminga, Dray, Wiggins for Bron and Prince makes the salary work.

Yeah, they were laughing about it on Dan Patrick today. They were saying "yeah, that's what GM's do...they ask about availability of players they have interest in. Unless there was an actual offer made, it's a non-story".

Nope. I like his process. All 4 of those players are in failing situations. It’s time.

That same process got him the best player acquired at the deadline in Hield.

in the offseason its doable. Right now Phoenix isn't going to admit defeat even though it looks like It's not going to work.

His focus should've been on adding a big

But as you said at least he got Hield.

Except, there is a huge difference between Hield and those other guys.

Doesn’t mean that a GM shouldn’t inquire.

He tried but one Big got moved at the deadline in Olynyk and he went for a first round pick. His late swaps of Bev and Springer to get 2nd round picks was his attempt to bolster the offer to Chicago for Drummond. Morey can’t control the Bulls being a delusional organization that gave Lavine 40 million a year and is about to sign up for 3-4 more years of DeRozan.
But as you said at least he got Hield.
In the end, this was likely the best fit in addition to being the best player moved at the deadline. Sixers need shooting both from perspective of volume and percentage.

Correct. Morey can’t control the delusions of other franchises that refuse to waive the white flag despite the fact that what they’re doing doesn’t work and isn’t going to lead to a championship.

The Bulls are pretty hopeless. I really hope Detroit stays off Lavine. Although the idea of them signing Tobias at his current salary is even worse.
