Playing in Dallas he shot a lot better because Luka was doubled a lot and would kick it out to the open guy.

The last 2 times he did it? In Dallas when he was surrounded by better players. Not too much of a reach to think he can do it with the Lakers......with the open looks he will get with AD and Bron there. Open looks=better chance of making the shot. SMH.

And as usual, it is more complicated than that.

Dinwiddie isn’t a catch and shoot guy. You can’t just spot him up in the corner and expect to get the most out of him. He might shoot better than his career average in that role, but that isn’t how he is best utilized.

2022 when Dallas made their run was easily his best stint as a pro. Dinwiddie was the 6th man. He anchored their second unit, brought instant offense and was the playmaker of the second group. But he was allowed to be aggressive without also being a defensive focal point.

Maybe the Lakers can recapture that balance that allowed him to flourish in Dallas?

But I would bet against Darvin Ham figuring that out.

That lineup will only make sense if Bron is out a game or late/end of game situation where you can do offense for defense subs

Vincent has only been available for 5 games and there doesn't seem to be any timeline on his return.

Not worried about Dinwiddies scoring, he's a good ballhandler and, at least in that respect, is good insurance if D-Lo falters in a playoff series like he did vs Denver.
