I agree, but do u think Ruggs changes the fact that the team, and jimmy just don't look long....a jerry jeudy fits them Worlds better

Yeah I mean that could be just part of the scheme to fit to JimmyG so we will see. I feel like Jeudy is a deep threat too. Ruggs has amazing hands, Jeudy is an amazing route runner and apparently mentally challenged.

They could start looking like the NFC version of the Chiefs.
Speed everywhere.
Niner RBs are just about all fast, All pro TE & land Ruggs has a ton of speed at WR. Could be a scary combination overall.

Ruggs would really open up stuff underneath. That is what Shanahan envisioned with Goodwin, but he's just a track guy with his mind elsewhere. Stretch everything vertically, while dogs like Kittle and Deebo eat underneath....and it doesn't look like Ruggs is just a fast guy. Looks like a hands catcher, a play maker and a guy whose got some versatility in his own game.

I won't complain if he's the pick.

I heard Ruggs only dropped one pass last year.

If I'm rating the receivers best for SF, it's Ruggs, Lamb and then Jeudy.

Everything I read is that he isn't just some track monster. He's a well rounded receiver gifted with extra gears. There may be 'better' all around receivers in the draft, but I don't think they're better fits for what SF and Shanahan want.

I agree.
When I was asking about this guy. the only thing I think anyone came up with, is he will have to work on getting off the LOS with press coverage. I will take a speedster with hands all day & teach him the ways of the NFL.

A lot of speedsters dont really have the hands.

Having said all that shit, the Raiders pick one spot ahead of SF......

Well if Bowl hair Davis is anything like Al Davis. They will be going for speed as well. Heard they were liking Ceedee, but Ruggs wouldnt surprise me.

I'm probably going to open myself up for a little bit of criticism but just because Ruggs has great hands doesn't mean he is as developed as these other first round WRs. He is so fast, though, that he doesn't really need to be anything other than having great hands.

If for some reason Jeudy is the only one on the board, I can see the Niners trading down, tbh.

Ruggs and Lamb just fit what the Niners do a whole lot more

It's why I'm OK where SF is picking.....whether there is a run on the OT's and WR's, someone like Kinlaw will be there. Both upper DT's and all 4 top tiered OT's are gone? One of those wides will be there, and I like Lamb after Ruggs. Receivers and DT's go? Then one of them Tackles.....

....as long as SF don't pick a punter

If all the other positions are gone - DT/OL - then I can see it. I'm not really a big fan of most everything else save something stupid like Okudah dropping.

Heard a lot about Ceedee Lamb to Oakland but it's hard seeing them pass up that kind of speed. Niners might need to trade down to get their guy

SF doesn't have the juice to trade up in this years draft. After their first rounders, they don't pick till the fifth round. Almost guaranteed they'll move back with one of their firsts.

yeah was watching on tv the thought is they will trade their late 1st round pick (to someone wanting that 5th year on a player) for some extra picks

courtesty of @Stomp . But this goes along with what myself and @dtgold88 been preaching
Arent all Mock drafts completely wrong? They dont usually add in trades (which can change the entire dynamic of the draft) & always look at needs more than just BPA.
Sure a couple picks will usually always be right, but most times the mocks are completely wrong overall.
