Someone is going to take a roll of the dice with Jalen Hurts and it’s going to be the steal of the draft!

Yeah use him as a wildcat guy like Taysom Hill!

No I don't think they have to, he can throw the ball. He can run an RPO system really well and the kid is a team first and he wins. Im not saying he's a day one starter, but he could end up being a starter if the coaching staff caters the playbook to his style of play

I just don't think he is a very good passer. Very athletic but he isn't Lamar Jackson. Lamar wasn't the greatest passer coming out of the college but hands down way better than Hurts. Like I said, he can be a backup that can run in certain packages but I don't see him being for 4-5 years if he lasts that long in the league. He isn't fast enough to convert to WR as well so that's why I said a Taysom Hill role might work in the perfect system

No I get what you're saying buddy. But for some reason I just see more in Hurts, its not his technique or a strong arm, just the way he carries himself and brings that team first image. I think can be a huge point for himself .

Hurts is a good backup QB prospect imo. Like Jake Fromm State Farm but to a different type of team (New Orleans, Baltimore or maybe Tennessee or SF). rd3-4

I will say that Hurts is getting the 'Tim Tebow' comp heading out of college and thats one of the two comparisons that always make me leery (Jay Cutler comp being the other) when it comes to the scouts. Dak had the Tim Tebow comp coming out because people didn't factor in how bad his oline was. Hurts, though, was in a system that seems to regularly project NFL talent. So the Tebow comp might be fair.

All Tristan Wirfs did today was run the fastest 40 time of all OL ( 4.85 ), tie the all time combine record for longest standing broad jump ( 10'1) and break the all time record for OL wetical ( 36.5 )

I think it unquestionably comes down to one of these two for the Browns at 10. I'd love to see them trade back up into the first to possibly take both, but that would probably require a haul.

So sad when Iowa fans come on to draft threads and brag about their Oline men, when in fact we all know they produce the best of NFL linemen.

Not on the Jordan Love bandwagon. 90% chance he is the next Paxton Lynch

I got my doubts about Eason or Fromm being 1st-Rd worthy, tbh.

fromm did nothing but regress

eason has a cannon, arm talent, can make all the throws, but wtf moments

Eason just doesn't have it. He is too big of a project in my opinion. The arm talent is off the charts for sure and he would make a nice backup for a team that maybe he could come in for a game or two and light it up but to use a 1st round pick on a guy that just seems so far away from being NFL ready is not something I can justify.

Fromm in the right system, with the right talent, with the right coaches could find some success but again he is a guy that I view as a very high quality backup. Case Keenum type guy that is lacking an NFL arm but has some intelligence that he could bring to the table.
