This will be one of the worst deals of this offseason. That is WAY too much for a guy who has spent 1 year at LT and did it on a team that does almost nothing else but quick short passing.

Anyone who paid attention to the NE offense wasn't all that shocked when Soldier bombed in year 1 of an offense that actually does 7 step drops and passes the ball deep. Same will happen with Brown in OAK.

To be fair, Solder started out horribly but I think he turned it around as the year went on. After a horrible start he finished 16th out of 35 qualifying LTs. Not what you're wanting for that kind of money, but given that his improvement came in the 2nd half you have to at least feel good going into 2019.

Maybe wait for everyone to settle down and get mid-level guys on good deals. Hicks the LB for depth, could get a good deal. Maybe add some backup OLineman for depth but seriously everyone is getting overpaid.

I say just fucking give the Giants a 2nd 2019 and 1st 2020 and see what they say for Beckham, if not, I agree with you completely these deals are crazy.

Interested to see where Mosley, Barr, Earl and Suh go. Mosley and Barr might be looking at $15-16M a year and these safeties are going to be making big money after that Collins contract.
