Geez they are going to have to replace a lot of guys on defense and their defense was already not very good last year.

Yeah not sure why they think saving $10M in cap is going to help when they lose their best OLineman and for a 5th round pick. We will see what kind of moves they make in FA, should be interesting.

This will be one of the worst deals of this offseason. That is WAY too much for a guy who has spent 1 year at LT and did it on a team that does almost nothing else but quick short passing.

Anyone who paid attention to the NE offense wasn't all that shocked when Soldier bombed in year 1 of an offense that actually does 7 step drops and passes the ball deep. Same will happen with Brown in OAK.

On the 49ers, Brown had a history of showing up to camp out of shape and putting on too much weight. Wonder if he resorts back to that now that he got paid.
