The early word is that McKinnon got a 4yr deal for 30M!

As a Viking fan that is the biggest head scratcher of a contract I have seen this offseason so far.

I think when they pulled their game tape on McKinnon, they mistakenly pulled only the 10 highlights instead of the entire tape.

The Vikes tried 2 years in a row to hand him the starting job after the injury to first Peterson and then Cook. And both years he was essentially supplanted by other RB's because when it comes to reading blocks, McKinnon is completely illiterate.

If you can get him in the open field,he can make things happen. But he can't get to open field without a defensive breakdown.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Jordy Nelson is expected to sign with the Raiders.

Nelson is still in Oakland after visiting with the Raiders on Wednesday, and a source told Schefter, "This is going to get done." Nelson is clearly on the back nine of his career, but he would be a solid red-zone option for Derek Carr. If Nelson does end up in Oakland, the Raiders are expected to move on from Michael Crabtree.:suds:
