But houses in Texas are a lot cheaper than houses in Cali, so it still doesn't even out.
The bye week counts as being paid at home so the #1 pick will pay California taxes for 10/17 weeks.Correct. So there would be some variation from year to year, but that only applies to the game check portion, and as a Ram, the #1 pick would play 9+ games in California, which has the highest state income tax, each year.
Don't NFL players get paid in the state the game is played in?
Earnings/taxes differ based on the schedule?
(Essentially I bury my money in coffee cans in the yard, so forgive my ignorance here.)
Hells yeah bitches...Like getting to ride on Jerry's stripper bus?
Yes.
and no state tax.
I love Texas
I think that is a little more dependent on position. Laremy Tunsil isn't exactly going to be getting his own shoes from Nike or anything like that but quarterback might though.Anyone want to wager on which of the top 4 gets the most endorsement money though? Plus, you don't have to live in Texas or Philly.

I think even high profile running back taken further down in the draft has more endorsement potential than a LT.What are you saying a "franchise LT" isn't the same worth of a QB?????

Eh, they get you different ways. Texas has the highest property taxes, and California is less than half of Texas.
For a top 5 pick, that ends up being significant when you buy your castle.
Top pick will end up with better endorsement's, too, to pad his wallet.
They don't have to worry about free shoes. Even the guys in college get all the free shoes they want from the company that sponsors their team.Well if I owned a shoe company, the big boys would be at the top of the list for free shoes!
These pretty boy QB's are over hyped, and everybody know that it's the big uglies that protect the pretty boys!

If Dallas takes Elliott i'll take that bet. And poor Goff has to move from the nice part of Cali to the crappy part. At least he'll get paid.
Says a nut.Philly is dope. LA is full of clowns.

Anyone with a brain. However, I'd take Texas and their more sane mindset and tax laws over California 7 days a week.
