This weekend was piss poor for the Seahawks. Every single team we needed to lose ended up winning and then we topped it off with a loss of our own. Seattle was the only NFC west team to lose today. Arizona now has a pretty much insurmountable lead so we are chasing a WC spot at best. Even that WC spot doesn't look real promising when you look at our few remaining games. What a difference in this team compared to last year's squad. I'm not going to throw in the towel yet, but it's starting to look a little bleak.

A loss next week and season is over. Might as well ir everyone and get ready for next year. We have to build an OL if we want the wilson era to mean more than one super bowl in his sophomore year.

But both have been decimated with injuries. Sort of ruins the rivalry when neither is at full strength. That said, I think the niner's pass us by for second place in the division. Still not convinced either team makes it to the playoffs. If I had to bet money I would say the hawks succumb to all the wounds (injuries and players lost to FA) and the niners squeak into the playoffs and have to go beat GB or Atlanta on the road. The only team I think will give them trouble is the Cards. They are looking pretty strong.
