Last year he had an ERA of 1.04 and a WHIP of 1.07. That isn't really disappointing. The year before he had some disappointing numbers, but he was coming off Tommy John surgery.

Yes, he was claimed by an unnamed team. I'm sure it will be tomorrow before anything is worked out or he's pulled back.


I hope it was the Pirates. It's probably the Tigers, Royals, or Orioles.

Someone on here reported that a couple of hours ago. Thad Levine was mum on the subject when Norm asked him this morning. I wouldn't expect we would get much with just a little over a month left in the season. The return last month would have been more.

Pirates need Cotts after their idiotic Grilli-Frieri trade. They sent Frieri down or out. Funny but Soria did not do well then went on the DL, Frasor has not done well, Nathan stinks. We know when to let them go.

Throw Gagne in there too when we sent him to Boston. What a disaster that was for Boston.

Agree. I am okay with stocking up our AA and up. I would be good with getting minor leaguers for Rios as well.

I agree. I would have even taken it further than just Cotts and Rios. Stocking up on upper level minor leaguers seems like a very good plan since I see our next window opening in 2017 with a slight possibility of 2016.
