Interesting thing about Nick. Looking at his FIP vs ERA you might think he's just getting really lucky. You might even go as far as to think hitters are just swinging at bad pitches and they'll adjust, but Martinez really pounds the strike zone. As of yet, I don't see that there's much for hitters to adjust to.
Matt Harrison had some great years where he beat his FIP. Some guys can pull it off with some magical BABIP. Baseball is just weird.

Guy actually reminds me a bit of Harrison, but with even slightly less stuff. When Matt was at his best he could dial it up to 93-94. However, Matt lived off a sinker and two seamer. Nick is living off pitching inside.

Something has seemed wrong with Odor's swing in how it comes thru the zone. He just seems tied up most of the time.

He always looks like that. He's got a long swing.

I've seen Harrison dial it up to 96 a few times, he didn't live there, but he could certainly dial it up a notch if needed

Just seems he is not getting any extension though as he comes thru so when he does make contact there is no real pop off the bat.

I would sure love to see the old Harrison back. He had made himself into a really good pitcher. Very tough mentally.

I thought I remembered that but I didn't want to say it being as I was unsure that was true or if I was making it up.

I even wanna say 97 a time or two, but I might be misremembering there... But I know he had a couple games where he was dealing

I don't remember 97, but I do remember 95 more than once.
