I kept telling everyone who wanted to trade Perez to be patient. That would be a huge mistake. I know its early, but vindication feels good.

I always wanted to give Perez a shot since he made his jump last season. That said I was open if the right player was coming back.

He's likely to have a couple more rough stretches, but same here, I've been saying it for years

you don't trade away LHPs that are young, throw 95 and have a good changeup and curveball
