hired former MLB infielder Cole Figueroa as assistant general manager and Justin Viele as Major League hitting coach.

I have heard Fenstermaker interviewed a few times by Jeff Wilson, and he seems like a very knowledgeable and likable guy. He has a great grasp on our organization as a whole. He is extremely knowledgeable about our farm system. I am very glad he got the promotion.

It would be nice to see the Rangers sign a good reliever not long after the 4:00 PM opening of free agency, maybe this evening.
