I am saying that Huff will be the closest to elite and that Trevino would have made the best backup.IF Garver amounts to nothing then it was a mistake but even still not a huge mistake. We need to get some elite payers within or without. Trevino is good but not elite
Perhaps he is thought as aI'm a little surprised to see Gallo making the post season roster.

Hard to believe he is still around. How many chances should he get? Must be nice to fail and make millions doing it.Perhaps he is thought as a
Defensive replacement and he does run well. And maybe a pinch hitter when a HR is needed vs contact And or moving the runner
Limited situations
I get his hitting is not what it should be but he can run and play defense. This does not qualify as a starter especially on the Dodgers but that is why they might have him in the rosterHard to believe he is still around. How many chances should he get? Yeah, I don't get the Gallo hatred. Some of this makes Crawler's anti-Odor, post-trade, feelings look tame.I get his hitting is not what it should be but he can run and play defense. This does not qualify as a starter especially on the Dodgers but that is why they might have him in the roster
Otherwise it makes no difference to me. I am a Ranger fan
I don’t think it’s hatred. There’s a difference between don’t like and hate. There are some who think, and I’m one of them he shouldn’t be in the major leagues. He has nothing to improve his hitting. Like someone said Judge has more home runs than he has hits this season. That is ridiculous.Yeah, I don't get the Gallo hatred. Some of this makes Crawler's anti-Odor, post-trade, feelings look tame.
Actually he shot his own self in foot not accepting extension so Odor was way less deserving of money than Gallo assuming anybody is deserving.Yeah, I don't get the Gallo hatred. Some of this makes Crawler's anti-Odor, post-trade, feelings look tame.
Not to stir up too much but his average is less than Mendoza so it was teased to rename the Mendoza lineI don’t think it’s hatred. There’s a difference between don’t like and hate. At times, some of what has been said on here about him is really, really close to hate. Not everyone and not every time, but some.I don’t think it’s hatred
And he has still put up the highest single season OPS on this team over the last couple of years. Even when he had that OPS last July, folks still expressed a great magnitude of derision when they mentioned him.Not to stir up too much but his average is less than Mendoza so it was teased to rename the Mendoza line
I hope he does well but definitely not at the expense of the Rangers
I guess I’m to old school. I don’t care what his OPS was. His OPS was high because of walks. He was getting paid to drive in runs not walk. He did nothing to make adjustments to his swing. I care about what he does with runners on base and his almost 200 strikeouts every year. When he first came I was one of his biggest fans. Not anymore. And he has still put up the highest single season OPS on this team over the last couple of years. Now, since then, he has played very poorly, but it didn't take those last 14 months to change some folks minds. Some had their minds made up long before then.
His walks helped, but his slugging was just 2 points off the lead as well.I guess I’m to old school. I don’t care what his OPS was. His OPS was high because of walks.
