No More "Bullpen Failure"
Yep, when you don't go out and sign a closer, almost every reliever you have is a possibility for closing.
Interesting

You think King is a candidate or is he in the almost category?Yep, when you don't go out and sign a closer, almost every reliever you have is a possibility for closing.
I don’t know about having a guy with a 4 era has a closer. You think King is a candidate or is he in the almost category?
My candidate is a guy who does not walk batters and has good swing and miss stuff. He also has to be impervious to pressure to some degree test thrive in the moment. Maybe that narrows the candidates perhaps?
Me neither. I was being facetiousI don’t know about having a guy with a 4 era has a closer.
Are we sure John King makes this club? You think King is a candidate or is he in the almost category?

I was hoping they would obtain a closer during the offseason. But doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.Me neither. I was being facetious
There is likely only a few of our relievers that could be candidates and yes it would not be bad to acquire one. Maybe some posturing
King is a possible casualty. Burke or Hernandez may be option not much else to start the year. Are we sure John King makes this club?
Do we have anyone on the roster left, if we narrow the candidates as you describe?
Maybe they are feigning non interest and get someone near Spring TrainingI was hoping they would obtain a closer during the offseason. But doesn’t look like that’s going to happen.
I really think the rotation is set in stone unless there is an injury.Funny the one starter in the back of my mind if a guy like Dunning forces his way into the rotation is Heaney
Reality and what I consider what might be a good move are often 2 different thingsI really think the rotation is set in stone unless there is an injury.
