My goal for Seager would be:

He was able to hit a little over .300 just before he came here. If he can improve that slightly without the shift then .315 should be a very obtainable batting average. If he gets the same amount of at bats in 2023 as he did in 2022, along with 30 HR and 30 doubles, then that .520 slugging should be obtainable.

The manager of the year in Frisco is out. It was a cinch the pitching coach would be gone, but a little surprising the manager was let go too.

I never heard a rumor about it. Maybe he is getting part of the blame for Leiter's season.

The batting average would be great but if he hits 300 that would be great especially since our money is no where LAD had. Sure he saw better pitches and he is expected to drive in runs
Otherwise they would not be a bad goal at all

Yep. The last time he made that comment, Blaine liked his comment to let him know he saw it. Within a year or so those kind of comments like Adam made will fall by the wayside.

He probably thought Lee Stevens and Nelson Cruz were too old when they had great seasons at AAA at the ages of 28 and 27.

Guys that are drafted our of college and hit very well at every level in the minors cannot help when they were drafted. Current guys like that have it even worse due to not getting to play in 2020.

If a guy is old because it took him 2 or 3 years to get past a level then that is a different matter entirely.

I believe the trend is for more high school players to go to college anyways
