Not too keen on Martin and King maybe the viper comes in and odorizzi becomes last years matt M. Could be. So if we got one closer then that might do it

Those were off-season moves, Jon gray was already under contract, Martin Perez counts bc he became a free agent

I'm not surprised by this in the least and wouldn't be surprised to see them start the season with the current players on the roster. I don't foresee anymore FA additions just minors contracts, they want to give Smith, Duran, Thompson, Taveras and Mathias the chance to step up and be productive...

2. Jacob deGrom and Andrew Heaney will combine to make fewer than 30 starts

3. The bullpen will have an ERA over 4.50 (unless they add more relievers)

4. The trade deadline will be another confusing maelstrom of nothingness

5. 80-82

Well I just said there was a large contingent. Maybe you think that contingent is irrelevant, but they do exist, irrelevant or not.

If Heim and Garver hit like they showed they might last year then the offense is in trouble. I think it is reasonable to wonder if Lowe is going to be the hitter he was last year. He probably will be, but I can understand someone not expecting that to happen.

That bullpen is not up to the task even if they are not overworked, and I think they will be overworked.

Line up could use a bat

I think they address bullpen with 1 FA and 1 trade and the bat, a trade

I guess one think to keep in mind is Burke and Moore were excellent last year.. neither one was a big time big fan fair acquisition..
Sometimes those big bullpen arms just don’t work out.. a lot of things can not work out lol

They can hopefully find value in some under the radar moves

I guess one think to keep in mind is Burke and Moore were excellent last year..

One doesn't appear to be coming back and the other could very easily just be good and not excellent. Keeping those two things in mind is a lttle unsettling.
