No. Everything needs to be re earned. It is a shame his bat has played better than IKF and Solak

Questions for the board

1. Is 2022 a rebuild year?

To me not near like last year unless we bring someone else up new.
I think you know what you have with the other players and there is not much else to sell

2 Who do you like in the playoffs? I think I may be keeping up with this and there may be some broadcasts I can actually see?

Side note. Cable contract is now expired so looking for avenues to stream Bally next year for Rangers

I still think 2022 will be a rebuild. Where I live only DirecTV and AT&T TV carry bally. I use an app called DOFU sports to watch the games.

Yes. Bad form as DT has said to root against own team. New CBA may make this a nonissue perhaps.

I never had a problem with being conflicted due to having fantasy teams. I also have not had any problems with wanting the Rangers to lose the last couple of years or in 2014. As long as the players didn't want to lose it is all good.

The Rangers didn't tank. When teams do tank, it is almost impossible to prove.

I don't see how they could ever change the ordering of the draft. They could go the lottery route and somehow the big market clubs would always win.

some players are penciled in the off-season and ST can change that. happens every year

It is way too early to know who goes where I think. It really depends on who signs, who gets traded, and who gets released. If we sign a SS and IKF doesn't get traded, I am afraid IKF goes to 2B.

If both IKF and Calhoun are gone then Solak probably stays at 2B with Ibanez at DH.

There are a lot of other scenarios too, and a lot of moving parts.

or Ibanez makes the team as a UIF/UOF along with Yonny and the Rangers look at someone like Steele Walker at DH

If ST stats meant anything Guzman would have been the Opening Day 1B and Lowe would have been sent to the minors to begin the year.

Now JD, Young, or Woodward can point to ST numbers as the reason they make a decision, but this example from last year shows they would just be making an excuse.

I hope they are just a bridge. That means Foscue, Smith, Wendzel and Hauver are failures along with Acuna and Acosta, assuming we sign a SS, that is. If we don't sign a SS, it means all but one of those guys were failures.

We may very well draft another MIF next summer too.

He goes on later to say that they would need to remove 8 to 10 others. I will say 8. Between the list he calls "fringy position players" and the list he calls "miscellaneous young veterans" I can see 8 to cut. That doesn't even include Palumbo.

It may be tougher to trade them before the deadline to get down to 40 because other teams know they have you over a barrel, somewhat.
