No. Everything needs to be re earned. It is a shame his bat has played better than IKF and SolakDoes Andy Ibanez deserve the nod at 2B next year?

I still think 2022 will be a rebuild. Where I live only DirecTV and AT&T TV carry bally. I use an app called DOFU sports to watch the games.Questions for the board
1. Is 2022 a rebuild year?
To me not near like last year unless we bring someone else up new.
I think you know what you have with the other players and there is not much else to sell
2 Who do you like in the playoffs? I think I may be keeping up with this and there may be some broadcasts I can actually see?
Side note. Cable contract is now expired so looking for avenues to stream Bally next year for Rangers
I never had a problem with being conflicted due to having fantasy teams. I also have not had any problems with wanting the Rangers to lose the last couple of years or in 2014. As long as the players didn't want to lose it is all good.Yes. Bad form as DT has said to root against own team. New CBA may make this a nonissue perhaps.
Almost like fantasy sports. Makes you conflicted and a bit dirty
Nothing is earned in spring training. Something can be given to someone, but nothing much earned, based on those bogus numbers.No. Everything needs to be re earned. It is a shame his bat has played better than IKF and Solak
It has been bantered that tanking will be addressed and players are dissatisfied with the compensatory pick.I never had a problem with being conflicted due to having fantasy teams. Do you really think the new CBA is going to change the draft ordering?
Ok…. Just not ready to hand over job to himNothing is earned in spring training. Something can be given to someone, but nothing much earned, based on those bogus numbers.
doesn't mean that much to me.Does not say much for Solak though who is weaker defensively. They let Ibanez start yesterday at 2B
The Rangers didn't tank. When teams do tank, it is almost impossible to prove. It has been bantered that tanking will be addressed and players are dissatisfied with the compensatory pick.
Think there is a Stark article out there I am going to read
some players are penciled in the off-season and ST can change that. happens every yearNothing is earned in spring training. Something can be given to someone, but nothing much earned, based on those bogus numbers.
or Ibanez makes the team as a UIF/UOF along with Yonny and the Rangers look at someone like Steele Walker at DHIt is way too early to know who goes where I think. It really depends on who signs, who gets traded, and who gets released. If we sign a SS and IKF doesn't get traded, I am afraid IKF goes to 2B.
If both IKF and Calhoun are gone then Solak probably stays at 2B with Ibanez at DH.
There are a lot of other scenarios too, and a lot of moving parts.
I hope they are just a bridge. That means Foscue, Smith, Wendzel and Hauver are failures along with Acuna and Acosta, assuming we sign a SS, that is. If we don't sign a SS, it means all but one of those guys were failures.Well yes regardless who is at 2B after ST. I doubt they are a future winning piece and at best a bridge
Adam said, "The Rangers will also add players to the 40 man roster through signing free agents or trading for players who are already on the major league roster. I would guess five spots would be needed for those players". I would cut that down to 3.
He details it out pretty well but there are some choices I agree and disagree with.Adam said, "The Rangers will also add players to the 40 man roster through signing free agents or trading for players who are already on the major league roster. He goes on later to say that they would need to remove 8 to 10 others. I will say 8. Between the list he calls "fringy position players" and the list he calls "miscellaneous young veterans" I can see 8 to cut. That doesn't even include Palumbo.
It may be tougher to trade them before the deadline to get down to 40 because other teams know they have you over a barrel, somewhat. He details it out pretty well but there are some choices I agree and disagree with.
I just think you try to keep high ceiling players and cut losses on MLB fringy players.
Doubt we are huge players in rule 5
Like to see more on this. Also thought maybe we trade some prospects for other prospects so not to expose them kind of like the Yankees did a few years ago.
