If we only attempt to trade the guys we are about to have to release then we won't get much of anything offered back. No one wants to give up anything for this team's rejects.

Now, if we attempt to trade IKF or Lowe we might get something.
True but might be better than nothing.
Will be interesting roster moves as some as WA ends

What about Brett Martin, Guzman, Solak, Calhoun, IKF and Trevino.

IKF, Trevino and Guzman to one team and
Solak, Calhoun and Brett Martin to the other.

Wonder what that would return

I was noticing that we are already on page 48 on this thread. That seemed like a lot for about 18 days worth of chatting. I looked back at last year's offseason thread. It started a week earlier than this one and we didn't get to page 48 until December 21. Wow, that is a huge difference in interest. That is about 86 days versus about 18 days.

This is one of the hugest off-seasons in Ranger History.
Plus the core of the board here have a lot of interest Just my opinion. I am
also a bit interested in this postseason

I don't know how many teams could make a trade like that with us because they would have to clear out roster space for three players at once.. You might have to deal them one at a time to different teams.

Myself, I would rather keep Trevino and deal Heim and I would rather deal Lowe and keep Guzman.

To be honest, my main interest in the postseason is to get the WS over as quickly as possible and get on to the offseason.

I would imagine the prospects we would get back will themselves be considered as fodder when they are Rule 5 eligible.

And we're down a few posters from last year as well, I believe.

I’m hoping they get MLB games on more platforms next year. There’s no way it’s good for baseball to not have them on everyone’s TV easily accessible.
I had to jump through hoops to get them on my TV this year and I’m a huge fan. The fair weather fans will not do that.

Not hard to see all the games. Just pony up and pay and no problem. Depends on your priorities.

a lot of people (like myself) don't want to pay $100+ a month for cable packages that we don't need.

Now, if MLB comes out with a streaming service that isn't subject to blackouts, that would be ideal.

We had a contract that included Rangers a year plus ago but it was for two years but when the Bally change came we were out of luck on the current contract. So yes I would rather stream vs take on another contract where. Rangers get cancelled

Eh. It wasn’t the money..
I just couldn’t figure out who carried Bally and what to get at first. Originaly at the very beginning of the year it looked like only direct tv? I watched most games this year.
Just shouldn’t be so hard to have it streamed to everyone.
Wasn’t on YouTube tv like it was in years passed.
MLB blacks it out if you’re in area.
Just silly

I think I read they are shooting for 2023 for that.
Ok. Have not seen that yet or missed in article I posted last week

I found myself listening and watching highlights. Really don’t care too much for TV crew anyways

Yes @saddles 2023. Guess I am spoiled. Wasn’t too long ago you needed a Cowboy antenna to get their home games
