Well, I am not convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is wrong about that now. If we sign a SS too, I think we will see a couple of prospect rich trades for other positions.

I say that because once they acquire a SS they no longer need to hold onto Foscue, Smith, Duran, Acuna, or Acosta. By signing Gray they are more or less saying they don't need one of their highly regarded pitchers. Signing Semien, Story, and Gray completely changes our need for several of our more valuable prospects. It changes their value to trade chips instead of pieces to plug into our lineup.

I’m really hoping Trevor wants to come here and is fielding offers from some teams so the Rangers can match them. Just to insure he gets a good deal.
