Drew A was surely not rostered and it looks like he has only been a relieverI missed the signing of Drew Anderson so it’s 14

Even more value. If signed and he does good we could get a good haul prospects inYes sir.
He has 4 years of control.. my bad, not 3.

And Burke will not be ready before mid-season.I like all of those guys.
IMO Alexy, King and Phillips need to prove themselves as starters at AA first though.
Gatto is interesting.. not sure if he’s going to be a starter or reliever.
Worth a look. Lately infielders going from Texas to Baltimore do well. Like his stats the last 2 years. He would come with 3 years of control. And he’s probably about to have the best 3 years of his career IMO based off of his age and progression.
He only played 9 games at 3B in 2019. Majority was a DH and then 1B.He would need to be DH primarily I believe though. His defense is so bad it takes away from his decently valuable bat.
I wonder if Willie Calhoun has any trade value at all?
It sucks because You’d think we would be able to flip these type of guys for prospects if they play reasonably well, but teams just wait us out and wait for us to release him. It sucked when the nationals got as drivel Cabrera from us without giving us anything, but it was worth it in the end because he hurt the astros in the World Series.still think we should stay internal but knowing JD not being able to avoid waste he probably signs someone like Renato Nunez on a 1 year deal
non-roster signing with invite to STDrew A was surely not rostered and it looks like he has only been a reliever
really don't see him as a starter this coming season with Gibson. Lyles and Arihara filling 3 of the roster. and have to figure that Allard gets 1 of the roster spots so that leaves i spot with Benjamin, Cody and a couple of others ahead of HearnWhat are the odds Taylor Hearn starts the year as a starter? I like the idea and could see him being a very solid rotation piece.

i think the Rangers are looking and praying that he shows an early production that increases his tradability. i don't think pitching from the bullpen would accomplish that plus it takes a spot in the bullpen that would probably be HearnI wonder if Lyles would be better out of the bullpen.. maybe like drew Pomeranz.
Up his trade value by letting him pitch out of the pen then trade him at the dead line. He was awful.
It is a contract year though so maybe he will have a decent year. Gotta get that $$

sounds like a winning plan but don't automatically shift Hearn when Benjaimn, Cody, Palombo and several others could just as easily pushed into the rotationGood point. Maybe let Lyles start and try to get his value up. Let Hearn come out of the bullpen and pitch 2-3 innings sometimes. At the deadline trade Lyles and move Hearn into the rotation lol
