Yelich should watch his mouth. Guys don’t typically go from being contact slap hitters (even in high school and the minors) to 40 HR beasts without receiving “help”. If they ever decide to start up with another round of steroid clean up, his name is near the top of the list.

I would consider trading DeShields and not rostering Tejada. He has a ways to go and he may not ever get there

I think there are 6 pitchers on the 40 man right now who we could release without hurting us.

Leody is equal to DDJ defensively with a little better arm. Offense is a wash. It opens up a roster spot And we can keep in minors in case of injury.

I will blame it on a combination of my fat fingers and autocorrect.

I meant to say, "I would consider trading DeShields and not rostering Tejeda. He(meaning Tejeda) has a ways to go and he may not ever get there."

Yokohama BayStars Post Yoshitomo Tsutsugo

The extent to which MLB clubs are sold on Tsutsugo’s defense will determine the interest in him. It’s easy to envision some NL clubs shying away — particularly those who already have a set first baseman locked into place. But Toronto general manager Ross Atkins has already acknowledged some interest in Tsutsugo, and the White Sox stand out as an obvious potential fit with both corner outfield and DH openings. Speculating a bit further, any of the Mariners, Tigers, Royals or Rangers could find a way to work him into a first base/DH/corner outfield rotation. The Marlins, with uncertainty at first base and in the outfield corners, are an on-paper fit in the NL. There’s certainly a case to be made that any rebuilding club could give Tsutsugo a look and hope to land a relatively affordable piece who can help turn things around or emerge as a trade asset.
