Who cares besides you?
Padres GM knows Wash pretty good.
I don't ever recall seeing post season baseball so full of teams I either despise, could care less, or downright hate! There isn't one single team which I'm cheering for. All my energy is cheering against and that's no way to enjoy baseball; any other sport for that matter.
Thus, I won't be watching much ball, just checking the box scores.
When the home team is no longer in it, I have no interest in who wins. Might watch a little if GunSmoke is a repeat.
You have not seen every episode of Gunsmoke??
And this is what baseball has become.....A home team driven sport.
Yep. You would think he would know better.
It is probably safer just to be a baseball fan. But when you have an extremely vested interest in the Rangers, then other teams which have rained on our parade our playing then it is hard to enjoy their success.
Obviously better just to enjoy good baseball. The Rays game last night was good. Not seeing today's game but it appears to be a train wreck
I watched the Rays game last night as well. I am rooting for them because I look at them as underdogs.
Dave Roberts piles the innings on Jansen the last 3 years and then with the based loaded and 0 outs in extra innings of a tie ballgame leaves Joe Kelly out there to pitch and gives up a GS. Never have liked how he handles the pen.
Angels top priority is hire Joe Madden and sign Cole. Cole grew up in Orange County where Angels stadium is located.
He is getting torched with all the arms available to do the job but chosen not to. These are days that a firing seems in order. Have to be able to manage in the postseason
Have to be so soul crushing to be a Dodger fan right now
The Nationals have a team that could win it all. Some really good pitching and a solid lineup.
I guess that’s the new team I’m rooting for. It was the dodgers.
would really like to see a rays win tonight tho.
with their payroll, can they afford $225+M more? they already have a $134.833M payroll on 7 players for 2020 and even if they drop Calhoun and Petit they will still have a $115.333M payroll and have to sign 20 players and throw in Cole who will get at least $30+M for the year
Starling Marte trade: The Texas organization can run Joey Gallo up the middle, which is quite a nice luxury, but probably prefers to limit the wear and tear to their star slugger. Better to plant him in a corner and install a regular center fielder. Delino DeShields Jr. isn’t that. With Willie Calhoun also an option in a corner, the Texas org could (but would not necessarily need to) utilize Nomar Mazara in this or another trade.
Yeah, my dog is out of this race right now. Only reason I was pulling for the Dodgers is for good ole Texas boy and Dallas kid Clayton Kershaw. Man, I hope some day he gets his ring but I’m not sure he will. Definite hall of famer!
Mazara's defining factor after 2019 season
