Texas won the Big XII Championship Game in 1996, 2005 and 2009.

That makes 3 Big XII titles for Texas.

Now, according to the OP, since Texas has 3 Big XII Championships, that means that Northwestern, who is not even a member of the Big XII and never has been, has 2 Big XII Championships.

And Pariah, Texas has 25 SWC Championships. Back in the day there were good teams in that conference. Arkansas, TCU and SMU were all pretty good back in the day. Not that it matters 'today' , but there were years when some of those teams were as good or better than those in the Big8, so get off yer high horse.

OU is a strong program. They have earned many titles outright.
But, OU has had some insanely good luck with timely injuries and strange tiebreakers.


2006 Texas destroyed OU, then Colt McCoy got hurt for the last 2 games. OU backdoored.
OU fans themselves will admit that weak team who lost to Boise had no business being the Big 12 champs.
2008 The pollsters selected Oklahoma over Texas (who beat them) in a 3 way tiebreaker
2010 The pollsters selected Oklahoma over Texas A&M (who beat them) in a 3 way tiebreaker
2012 Inexplicably, Oklahoma got a title despite losing badly to K-State in a 2-way tie with them.


That is 4 titles that OU could very easily not have....2012 really makes no sense at all.

This is obviously since 1996 and the formation of the Big 12.
Actually, Northwestern has 1 Conference Championship, 2 Conference co-Championships and none since 2000.

Let's do the same thing, but when Miami joined the ACC, 2004.
Northwestern has no Big Ten Championships.
Miami has no ACC Championships.
Texas has 2 Big 12 Championships.
