Texas can and will return to it's past glory. When you have the number 1 program in a state like Texas, it's just a matter of time until we start getting the right recruits again. So many good QB's in Texas HS football, and no one since Colt McCoy has come equipped to do the job. Too many great ones have left the state and the Texas Longhorns in the last few years.

Hell with the SEC a Network in place aTm is going to make more money than what the LHN does in the long term. No offense but the gap is closing fast and Texas may not be able to stop it.

2 years is tough especially with all the player exits I would revise to 4 years and let the majority of the team be Strong recruits before I raised my expectations significantly. The good news is you are in the Big12 so you're really only chasing two other programs.

Usually only two programs, but the Stoops brothers just about have the team back to where they were in the early 2000's, Bill Snyder is getting KSU back, Baylor is here to stay, Gundy has Ok.St. playing well every year, TCU will get the hang of the new conference, and WVU is always going to be able to upset a few teams.

Ford, maybe Coda is on to a new offensive scheme....give the opponent extra possessions, maybe they will be tired at the end of the game

If he actually knew anything about the Longhorns this season, he would know that Texas hasn't scored an offensive TD in the time required by his opinion.
AFA the teams in Texas. Rice is 0-3 and North Texas is 2-2. Rice even lost to Old Dominion.
