We have a kid named Cody Ege at High Desert where they play in a hitters league. Ege has 24 strikeouts in 11.2 innings as a reliever and he is a lefty. He has only walked 2 batters so far. It may be time to move him to Frisco.

Well you have a choice ... use Rosales ... or move someone from the 15 day to the 60 day DL or DFA someone.

You might be right though. I might be confusing the disagreement I got about the wisdom of extending Beltre with the actual motivation behind it. Since you and Rev both mentioned that I am probably remembering it wrong.

Good idea ... he's doing well. Who do you move from the 15 day DL to the 60 day DL or who do you DFA to make a roster spot for him?

Now that Blanks is on the 40man he can be optioned back down ... but if you make a roster move for Field and then later on want to move Odor back up ... you have to DFA Field or Rosales.

The five-hit offensive night left them with a .210 batting average for the month, the worst in the majors. It is the worst batting average for a month since the AL started using the DH in 1973. Their .611 OPS for the month is the second-lowest in the DH era. Their two runs gave them a total of 75 in 21 April games, an average of 3.6 per game (if we round up). They have scored fewer runs in a month once since 1973.

Banister in the post game really looked beat down. Frustrated. Clueless.

They have a long way to go to climb back in end of the season and next year ... but how disheartening is it for the guys to put it aside every night and try to come back positive the next day.

It will all get better when Josh arrives.
