All I can think of is they were gonna lose him whenever his contract is up so decided to trade him while they can :noidea:

he has 3 years 39 million left. Hopkins is in his prime on a team friendly deal and Houston traded him for an injury prone RB who lost his job to Drake and a 2nd round pick

WHAT THE FUCK

Did D-Hop shred his knees and they've kept it a secret and are trying to pull a fast one? This makes zero fucking sense.

IF he's healthy, that remains to be seen...

...yeah, it was pretty stupid. I'd have held fast to see what else Arizona would send my way

Yeah you can't give up a top 3 WR for a BIG IF. The Texans still have Fuller, Coutee and Stills but still a big what if for trading a top player in the NFL

It’s like Houston and Jacksonville are in a race to see who can the the worst team in the division.

Hopkins took a serious step back last season. But this is ludicrous. Dude is only 28 years old.

Must have been some bad blood brewing.

How could they not have found a better offer around the league is my question.

Wow...Hopkins + 4th for Johnson + 2nd...on paper we need to see what the picks turn into, but as of now, HOU took a step back here imo. Johnson is a shell of his former self.

yea, in no way would I have ever done this trade.... I just don't think it is that bad.... and I could easily see the Texans being better for it.... With that said, the cardinals were the clear winner of this deal.... Not only did they get the better player, but they got a 4th round pick back... how they got that 4th back, is a bigger joke than getting the Hopkins!!!

Might as well ship off Watson and a fifth for Dalvin Cook and a third.

Get Watson out of Houston and save his career.

Who are they going to trade to get a first round pick?

Hopkins...ohh wait.

It would have looked a little better if the Texans got a 1st out of this deal. Got the 40th overall

And to think the Ravens just got a second round pick for Hayden Hurst!

At this point, I'd rather fucking have Jerry Fucking Jones as my general manager.

Let's not forget O'Buttchin traded away Clowney last season.

So what you're saying is that next year he is going to trade away Watson for a 4th rounder and the worst contract he can find?

Almost wish he would just to keep Watson's career from becoming David Carr's.
